Contained about Girieud
The Three Graces, by Girieud, is a very studied painting, very firmly established and composed with a beautiful science. It gives off a very great impression of calm and harmony. We received a letter about these Three Graces. The author of this letter, scholar and painter, he says, goes to war against these Three Graces, which do not correspond to the proportions of a canon he has established.
